Lion and Monkey are fraternal twins who are different in many ways but share a special bond. While Monkey faces the challenges of having a rare genetic disorder, being on the autism spectrum, having mobility issues, and being non-verbal, he is determined to overcome his challenges and gain skills. Lion has been by his brother’s side and has always given him support and encouragement. Through their journey growing up together, they model the benefits of inclusion and acceptance. Though their days look quite different— they ride different buses to school, communicate differently, sleep in different types of beds—they thrive both at home and at school. They share the inextricable bond that comes with being twins.
